Integrity policy

Carbonoffsetnow.com is part of Tricorona Climate Partner AB 556808–4288. Tricorona Climate Partner’s vision is that everyone will value their responsibility for the climate highly, and actively work towards a climate-friendly lifestyle. Therefore, we help private individuals and companies to calculate, reduce and offset their carbon emissions. We want you to feel safe in your interaction with us. Below are our conditions regarding the purchase of carbon offsets through us. Valid from 2018/05/25.

These terms and conditions apply to all distance agreements between Tricorona Climate Partner AB and you as a customer regarding the purchase of carbon offsets. Agreements shall be deemed to have been entered into on the day Tricorona Climate Partner accepted and confirmed your order. Confirmation is via email.

Customers must be over the age of 18.

Upon payment, a certificate is obtained in PDF for the completed carbon offsets. The certificate certifies that Tricorona Climate Partner shreds the equivalent amount of carbon dioxide equivalent in the relevant trade register. The cancellation in the register is a confirmation that the same amount cannot be purchased again and that the funds reach the project. The cancellation usually takes place within the next month after the payment transaction was completed. In some rare cases, the cancellation can take longer. Order confirmation is delivered directly upon purchase via email along with the certificate of your carbon offsets. If an ordered service cannot be delivered, Tricorona Climate Partner AB reserves the right to replace the delivery for another project or cancel the purchase and delivery. In such an event, the customer has the right to be reimbursed.

All prices are quoted in EUR and include 25% VAT.

Stripe – Card Payment – Visa / Mastercard / American Express
For card payment, we use the payment service from Stripe Payments Europe Ltd (“Stripe”) which are PCI certified level 1. It is the most stringent level of certification available. For purchases over EUR 250, it is possible to pay with invoice at checkout. Tricorona Climate Partner uses Fortnox Finans AB for invoice management. 30 day credit period and 8% interest rate. Credit evaluation can be carried out and it could lead to the order being rejected.

We also accept Swish & Paypal.

Purchase agreements are entered into from distance, and thus the right of withdrawal from the agreement applies in accordance with the law on distance trade agreements. This means that you as a customer have the right to regret the purchase within 14 calendar days from the day the agreement was entered into. If you wish to exercise your right of withdrawal, you must send a message to Tricorona Climate Partner AB that you wish to cancel your purchase.

Complaints regarding the nature of the service must be asserted within a reasonable time from the discovery and sent to Tricorona Climate Partner. Complaints with a clear description of the deficiencies should be submitted in writing to info@kliamtkompensera.se.

1. Prices & Payment
Subscriptions to the Climate Subscription Service are signed after you, as a customer, complete the order of the subscription service. Payment of the subscription fee for the initial and, where applicable, for each new subscription period is made in advance by deducting the fee from the credit card you have provided. The subscription fee for a new subscription period falls due every 30 days after the first payment. The applicable subscription fee is stated in the price list which is found on the website. All prices are stated including VAT and in Euro (EUR). You are responsible for ensuring that the credit card linked to the agreement contains sufficient funds on the due date to cover the subscription fee charged from time to time. If you do not have sufficient funds on the payment date, your subscription will be paused or terminated.

2. Automatic Subscription Renewal
Subscriptions are renewed automatically by extending the subscription period by 1 month, provided you have not canceled your subscription before the end of the current subscription period. This means that Tricorna Climate Partner AB will continue to charge a subscription fee in accordance with paragraph 1 above until the subscription has expired.

3. Contract period and termination of contracts
The agreement is valid for the initial subscription period and any subsequent subscription period as set out in paragraph 2 above. You have the right at any time to cancel the subscription with effect from the end of the current subscription period or, if the customer so requests, with immediate effect by canceling the subscription by logging into his account. No refund of the amount already paid is received.

We comply with the new GDPR, which means that we respect your privacy and your right to control your personal data. According to the Personal Data Act (1998: 204), and from 25 May 2018, Tricorona Climate Partner is responsible for the personal data processed under this section. Your information is used to provide you with up-to-date information on Tricorona Climate Partner AB and Klimatkompensera.se and Carbonoffsetnow.com, and our work on creating better conditions for private individuals and companies to reduce their climate impact. Personal information provided to Tricorona Climate Partner AB will be processed in order to fulfill the agreements entered into or obligations that exist under law or other regulations or if the processing is necessary for Tricorona Climate Partner AB’s legitimate interests provided that the registered interest of protection does not weigh more heavily. The personal data may be disclosed to partners, other group companies, agents or subcontractors hired by Tricorona Climate Partner AB to fulfill their obligations under this agreement. Furthermore, the personal data may be used for market analyses, statistics and to evaluate and improve services and products. The personal data may also be processed for marketing purposes. You as a customer who object to the processing of personal data for marketing purposes can at any time, to prevent such processing, notify Tricorona Climate Partner AB. You also have the right, at your own request, to be informed of what information has been stored about you. The request must be in writing and signed. If you want to correct, delete or limit your personal data or no longer wish to receive communication, you can find our contact information at the bottom of this page.

All intellectual and copyright rights that are found on Tricorona Climate Partner AB and klimatkompensera.se and carbonoffsetnow.com and various pages, may not be copied, used or disseminated. We refer to the current copyright law.

The agreement is valid until the purchased service has been completed and the applicable warranty period has expired.

The right to assign or transfer the rights or obligations under this agreement to a third party without the customer’s consent, which can reasonably be expected to fulfill the obligations under the agreement satisfactorily.

Disputes concerning the application of interpretation of the agreement or related issues shall primarily be resolved through negotiation and agreement between the parties. Any dispute must be decided by the general court (based in Stockholm), whereby Swedish law should be applied. Disputes can also be tried by the General Complaints Board.
